DESCRIPTION:How are needles\, thread and textiles related to resistance?\n\
	nIn this film screening\, which will be followed by an open space for dial
	ogue\, we\nwill explore how textile crafts can be used as a form of politi
	cal resistance.\nWe will show several short documentaries about:\n\n * Tat
	reez: the Palestinian art of embroidery as a form of cultural resilience.\
	n\n * Arpilleras: colourful\, three-dimensional narrative fabrics created 
	by Chilean\n   women in resistance to the Pinochet dictatorship.\n\nAfter 
	the screening\, we will open the floor for a dialogue where we collectivel
	y\nreflect on the intersections of memory\, gender\, craft and resistance.
	 With our\nworkshop\, we invite participants to share thoughts\, personal 
	experiences and\nreflections on the political dimensions of textile practi
