DESCRIPTION:How can film help us see histories that have long been hidden —
	 from the forced\nlabour on indigo plantations in Haiti to the influence o
	f Christian missions on\nfashion in Namibia and Jamaica? Beyond documentin
	g the past\, film can challenge\ndominant narratives\, unearth silenced vo
	ices\, and spark new ways of thinking\nabout heritage\, memory\, and Afro-
	Indigenous knowledge.\n\n This special evening celebrates the finissage of
	 the BCDSS exhibition Enmeshed\nand Entwined: Fabrics of Dependency. It be
